

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that Mr. Robert Poëti accepted the Honorary Presidency of this 2nd edition of the Man in the Spotlight event, aimed at highlighting the services of the Auton'hommie resource center for men.
Holder of a master's degree from the National School of Public Administration and a graduate of the National Police School of Quebec, Robert Poëti is recognized for his career with the Sûreté du Québec and for his many involvements in his community. He was a Liberal Member of the National Assembly of Quebec and has represented the riding of Marguerite-Bourgeoys since the Quebec general election of 2012. He was the Official Opposition Critic for Public Security between 2012 and 2014 On April 23, 2014, Mr. Poëti was appointed Minister of Transport of Quebec as well as Minister of the City of Montreal.

Marc-Antoine Cyr is from Plessisville. The world of real estate and entrepreneurship having always fascinated him, he acquired his first income property in the Center of Quebec at the age of 18. Subsequently, it was her university studies in business administration that led her to Quebec City. It was at the age of 21, accompanied by his two partners, that they started his business called Gestion immobilière GestiPro, which today manages more than 2,500 units on the South Shore and on the North Shore of Quebec.
Despite a reduced sense of direction, he navigates this world brilliantly, and since his first acquisition in 2010, Marc-Antoine has completed several real estate transactions in association to increase his real estate portfolio. In addition, in 2017, he acquired a hardware store in Quebec City and a second in 2020. He accepted without hesitation to parade for us, since he firmly believes that generosity and social involvement are important factors for a healthy community.

Bruno Lévesque is a residential real estate broker at Re/max 1er Choix, in Quebec. It is by accumulating various professional experiences that he manages to embark on the world of brokerage. He accepted with great enthusiasm to participate in this parade, having always been a fan of fashion. He tells us that at 17, it was inconceivable for him to wear the same item of clothing twice a week.
In addition to allowing him to highlight his love for clothing, he finds that the event was an excellent opportunity to give back, and to help an important organization for the male community.

Pierre-Antoine Gosselin is from Rivière-du-Loup, in Bas-Saint-Laurent. From an early age, he showed an interest in the world of communication. At the age of 9, he founded his own student radio station at his elementary school, and began his career with the CIEL-FM team in Rivière-du-Loup at the age of 17.
After completing studies in journalism, he became a radio journalist, before appearing on the screen in Gaspésie and Rivière-du-Loup. In 2018, he moved to Quebec and became news anchor for TVA Quebec in 2021. He wanted to get involved with L'Homme à l'Honneur since he found that this cause was particularly important, especially given the social context. of the past two years. It is essential to seek help when you feel it is necessary, he reminds us.

Steve Buisson, originally from Côte-de-Beaupré, is a portfolio manager and investment advisor for Buisson Wealth Management, with iA Private Wealth Management. It was his participation in the Montreal Stock Exchange's stock market simulation competition, when he was 16 years old, that gave him the bug for the field of finance! He wins third place, and receives a scholarship. At the age of 28, he became an investment advisor at the head of his own company, after an early career focused more on sales and marketing.
He attributes his success to his positivism and a lot of perseverance. Being overweight in his early teens, he decided at 12 that he had had enough and he took up sports, joined a hockey team, and obtained a strength of character that allowed him to believe in himself and to rush towards their goals. He even sees himself doing a few small modeling contracts between the ages of 16 and 20. He therefore agreed to play the game once again for our event, adding that it is a great opportunity for him to give back.

Marco Lavoie is from Normandin, in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. A lawyer by profession, at the head of his firm, Lévesque Lavoie Avocats Inc., he likes to have a positive impact in his community. Very involved, he is among other things part of the administration committee of AutonHommie. Marco also wears VALIN on a daily basis, so it was only natural for him to accept our show proposal during the event.
According to him, getting involved in this kind of project makes the community aware that one day or another, everyone will need listening and support, and that helping a man is equivalent to help society in general.

Jérôme Gaudreault, from Lévis, is the executive director of the Association Québécoise de Prévention du Suicide. It is his desire to help advance a very important social cause that leads him to work within the organization.
Gifted in gardening, he likes to take care of plants as he likes to take care of his community, getting involved in various areas of the region, such as business, health, youth and employability. He wants to get involved for the Man of Honor to live a new experience and support the AutonHommie organization, with which he shares fundamental values.

Gisèle Roy, from Sherbrooke, is Senior Director of Sales and Marketing for Le Soleil. It was at the age of 6 that she began to take an interest in the world of newspapers, helping her brother with the delivery of La Tribune de Sherbrooke - the Wednesday and Saturday editions were so voluminous that the help of an assistant was needed, and the newspaper pocket was bigger than her! She quickly agreed to participate in this event because Le Soleil wants to give back to the community that has helped her so much.
Since the advent of the Digital Sun, the platform has had the wind in its sails thanks to this community. Its mission is to be the gaze of Quebec on what is happening here and elsewhere in the world, and this is made possible thanks to the commitment of its community. Mrs. Roy adds this: “When men finally dare to ask for help, the only response we should accept as a society is present. »

Steeve Michaud, from Quebec, is a store manager for RONA Quebec (Lowe's). He has been with this company for 27 years. In 1995, he started as an assistant department manager, and quickly rose through the ranks thanks to his passion for retail and customer service. In all, he was director of eight different RONA and Réno Dépôts! For him, teamwork is essential to achieve our goals.
Being already involved in several events and fundraisers for various social causes, he immediately agreed to march for us, finding it important to do everything possible to help the community.


Geneviève Nadeau is from Lévis and mother of three beautiful grown up daughters. From a young age, she practiced figure skating at the competitive level, developing her love for physical activity in the process. From a young age, she knew she wanted to be a healthcare professional. Improving people's quality of life and health in a natural way were the basic criteria for choosing his future career, and chiropractic was the only profession that really corresponded to his desires. She therefore began her university career in 1997 in Trois-Rivières, and obtained her title of Doctor of Chiropractic in May 2002. Today, she is the owner of the Clinique Chiropratique Nadeau, but remains above all a patient who benefits to the maximum from the benefits of this wonderful science of health. Very proud of this great recognition, she was named winner of the Micro-Dynamics category and the Young Emerging Award of the Pléiades competition, in addition to receiving the Award of Excellence from the Lévis Chamber of Commerce in 2012 and 2014.
Martin Villeneuve, from Quebec, is sales manager for the Würth company. It is the human contact, the possibility of autonomy, the need for planning and the pleasure of being on the road that leads him to want to take up this professional challenge. Martin is also a passionate scuba diver and loves to explore the unknown. He also has the pleasure of seeing his 5 children grow up. He agreed to participate in our event, along with his wife Geneviève Nadeau, to have the chance to relive the most beautiful day of his life, his wedding. And yes! Our two lovers will parade in their wedding clothes!

Sébastien is business advisor for JTI-Macdonald Corp. After obtaining his bachelor's degree in administration at Laval University, he worked for Labatt for four years as a merchandiser. He worked for JTI Macdonald for twelve years before taking over as sales manager.
He has more than sixteen years of expertise in the convenience store/grocery store industry. In July 2022, he married Karine, with whom he has been in a relationship for eighteen years. They now live in Saint-Augustin with their two children Mickael and Megan. During his career, he took up the challenge of going to work for 2 years in Gaspésie in order to familiarize himself with another culture and develop new ways of living and working. In March 2022, her daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy after spending 4 days in intensive care. This event made him aware of the fragility of life and the importance of health.
Since the death of his friend Roberto Bissonnette, he has been involved with the Bob Bissonnette Foundation via the official hockey classic, in order to help young people. He realized the importance of getting involved and being able to move his community forward. It is with great pleasure that he agreed to parade to help men in difficulty. By participating in this event with his son, he wants him to realize the strength that a group of people can have by uniting to help people in difficulty.
