New Car Warranty

All new Porsche vehicles imported and/or sold by Sime Darby Auto Performance Sdn. Bhd. (SDAP) come with either a 2-year or 4-year manufacturer’s warranty, depending on the model. Vehicles maintained or imported to Malaysia by other means than Sime Darby Auto Performance Sdn. Bhd. may affect the validity of this warranty.

 

Extended Warranty Options

Customers have the option to extend their coverage with 1, 2, or 3 years of Porsche Approved Warranty (PAW). This extension can be purchased as long as the vehicle is still under its original New Car Warranty (NCW) or existing PAW coverage.

Stand Alone Warranty

A stand-alone warranty applies to vehicles that are no longer covered by any existing warranty (i.e. New Car Warranty or Porsche Approved Warranty). To qualify, the vehicle must first undergo and pass a 111-point inspection at an authorised Porsche Centre or Porsche Service Centre.

Unlike warranty extensions purchased while the vehicle is still under warranty, any repairs identified during the inspection must be carried out first at the owner's own cost as retail repairs, before the stand-alone warranty can be activated.

Pre-Owned Car Warranty

All Porsche Pre-Owned vehicles sold through Sime Darby Auto Performance Sdn. Bhd. are provided with manufacturer's Pre-Owned warranty for a minimum 2 years coverage. This policy has the same exclusions as the extended warranty policy mentioned above.
