Porsche ARbox Carrera Cup Asia enters the second half of the 2026 season this weekend, racing as part of the Bangsaen Grand Prix event, with over 300,000 spectators expected, creating an incredible festival like atmosphere. The unique venue located on the Gulf of Thailand makes for some amazing views throughout, with the pitlane located next to the beach.
Returning to one of Asia’s most challenging street circuit are some past champions including current Porsche ARbox Carrera Cup Asia titleholder Dylan Pereira and three-time series victor Chris van der Drift, as the championship holds its first event with ARbox as title partner.
Aiming to carry the momentum from the first podium win at Round 6 in the Shizuoka Prefecture, Team Porsche Malaysia and race driver Naquib Azlan in car #17 is looking to close the gap in the Drivers’ Standings as they continue their 2026 campaign. Ahead of the weekend’s races at Bangsaen, Azlan continues his streak of overall best lap time during the Free Practice sessions, with a lap time of 1:33.557.

Thailand Super Series will also be in action throughout the weekend in Bangsaen, with several Porsche entries set to be involved across the GT3, GTM and GT4 categories.
Finally, following the event in Bangsaen, the eight-strong Porsche ARbox Carrera Cup Asia Talent Pool Presented by Michelin members will head to Phuket to take on their second training camp of the year.
