An atypical course.
Very young, I was already passionate about scale models. I had an overwhelming amount of small cars and spent most of my time playing with them, and modifying them. Without knowing it, my youth will have influenced me to move towards the vast world of the automobile industry. At the time, I did not necessarily covet this area, but as they say: "when our destiny calls us, certain unexpected things happen".
My rather modest entry into the industry as an aesthetic technician seemed like the perfect entry point to climb the ranks. I have worked through several positions with companies in the Quebec City region, which will certainly have given me the chance to gain sufficient experience to eventually find myself here, in the sales department at Porsche. From then on, I knew that the position of sales consultant at Porsche Centre Quebec was a position of choice for me.
Being part of the Porsche team also means having to travel once or twice a year. I had the chance to make several training trips abroad in order to optimize my knowledge as well as to be well informed of the technicalities of the new models. The many trips have certainly helped me to understand that the manufacturer Porsche is more than just a manufacturer, he is a builder of experiences and dreams.
The first training trip I took part in was to market the new 911 (model 991). Their impressive structure and the way they received us is a perfect example of the service I want to convey to my clients. Then, I was fortunate enough to have to travel to Germany to obtain the "Porsche Ambassador" certification, one of the many rigorous training requirements that we must obtain in order to know the brand well. The Porsche Germany team gave us a tour of the incomparable factories in Stuttgart and Leipzig. My trip to Zuffenhausen is undoubtedly one of the best experiences I have had the chance to have.
I have always been passionate about motorsports and Porsche is, to this day, the most successful manufacturer in motorsports so far, especially since it is the manufacturer offering the most reliable vehicles on the market. I often like to say: "the best ambassadors are our customers" The Porsche experience is to bring to its colleagues as well as to its customers, emotions... among few other manufacturers, Porsche is the leader in that area. And that experience is exactly what will make you fully appreciate the brand.
I have been in the field for 27 years now, many good years working in a dream field, and what pride to be an integral part of the Porsche Centre Quebec racing team. Still to this day, my favorite thing is meeting new people and discussing, especially about the history of Porsche, of course, but also listening to the passions of my customers. I have a different and unique bond with all my clients, but sure enough, they can confirm without a doubt: my authenticity is my greatest strength.
