History, travels, and culinary discoveries.
In addition to being a specialist in prestigious vintage Italian cars and Porsches, Tristan reveals the soul of a globetrotter. As he says so well himself: "Life is more than a succession of opportunities, it is a journey".
Originally from Aix-en-Provence, in the South of France, and in love with his native region, Provence, life led him to Paris for many years from his adolescence. French of Spanish and Italian origin from his mother's side, Tristan is multilingual. In addition to English, he is fluent in Spanish, remains sensitive to Catalan, and speaks Italian from his past with a renowned Italian car competitor and because of, or thanks to (it is according to) his former boss, a real Italian from Puglia.
Tristan has had the chance to travel countless times in the summers in Catalonia, mainly to Barcelona in his family, his favorite city on the continent, as well as to the Balearics on the island of Mallorca, which he knows very well and particularly fond of. He even resided in Madrid, the Spanish capital, for several months during his studies in International Trade. Just before making one of the most important decisions of his life a little over 2 years ago now, namely, to come and settle here in Quebec, Tristan had time to explore a good part of the Europe: England, Italy, Scotland, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, appear on his hunting board.
The city of Budapest was one of his favorites for its ancient architectural mix, in the purest Austro-Hungarian tradition, its vestiges of the Soviet era and its multiple monuments dating from the Ottoman Empire, such as the Turkish baths "Veli Bej" impressed him. Also, Portugal holds a special place in his heart, and he was able to go there several times and explore the regions of Porto, Lisbon and finally Leiria, the center of the country where his companion at the time was from.
Since moving to Quebec, Tristan has explored our Belle Province, as well as the historic parts of New France in North America, such as Vermont, for example. Recently, he was able to realize his dream of visiting Havana in a backpack and staying in the mythical hotel linked to the Italian-American underworld: the Hotel Habana Riviera, on the "Paseo del Malecón". When the health situation allows, he plans to visit Louisiana, Japan, Brazil, Argentina and Turkey. Tristan starts from a simple observation: “Travel frees the mind and opens our eyes in a new way to the world and our environment. Travel is also great encounters that shape us.
